This Patient Access System Director opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule.

Northern Nevada Health System (NNHS):
Northern Nevada Health System is a regional multi-facility system that has excelled at offering quality care to residents of the greater Truckee Meadows.
Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, is our flagship facility.
A second hospital, Sierra Medical Center, is the first full-service hospital built in the region in over a century.
Our System also provides family, internal and sports medicine and a wide range of specialty care through Northern Nevada Medical Group.
Our providers are located throughout Reno, Sparks, Fallon and Bishop.
In addition, patients can receive a variety of outpatient surgical services at Quail Surgical and Pain Management Center.

Position Description:
Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of patient access functions across our healthcare system.
The role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless patient experiences, efficient operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to drive continuous improvement in patient access processes and outcomes.
The position supervises Patient Access Managers, Supervisors and other members of the team while coordinating with hospital leaders across the organization.
The position interprets policies and procedures, recommends changes as appropriate, and provides feedback related to Patient Access best practices.
The position maintains up to date knowledge regarding Patient Access and Revenue Cycle as well as CMP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree required.
    Masters Degree preferred.
  • Min of 8 years hospital Patient Access experience and 8 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare Revenue Cycle is required.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
    Experience in patient accounting systems.
