Position: Avionics System Engineer
Duration: 12 months (CTH)
Location: Long Beach, CA

Pay rate : $63-$70/hr

Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.


• 5+ years of aerospace industry experience within Avionics, Electrical, Software, or Electro-Magnetic Effects.

Plusses:

• 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams.


• 5+ years of experience in avionics design & analysis engineering.


• Experience supporting aircraft production, development, and/or sustainment program(s).


• Experience working directly with customers and/or suppliers.


• Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness.


• Experience with commercial engineering, Mods and Maintenance (EMM) products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic & electrical system requirements.


• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware & software designs & interface specifications.


• Test and validate to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.


• Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.


• Solve problems concerning and provide other support for fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.


• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
