Systems EngineerLocation: Windsor Locks, CTJob ID: #70990Pay Range: $55-96 AN HOUR12 MONTH CONTRACT We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us as a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, verification & validation, and operational support of Dragonfly hardware for a cutting-edge future space exploration mission. Responsibilities include: interfacing with customers/suppliers/internal stakeholders to understand needs/negotiate assumptions/exceptions/changes, documenting requirements, performing requirements validation, allocating & deriving lower level requirements, capturing requirements traceability and rationale, managing requirements change, documenting requirements compliance and associated risks through the development life cycle.Education / Certifications• Bachelors in Mechanical/Aerospace/Chemical/Systems/Electrical Engineering with 8-20 years of experience ? Experience / Basic Qualifications• Strong leadership and the ability to work well both independently and within an integrated product development (IPD) team environment• Excellent attention to detail• Excellent writing & math skills• Must be a US citizen Preferred Qualifications• Experience on a hardware development program: proposal/development/manufacture/verification• Experience with NASA-based requirements• Broad technical engineering knowledge relevant to the design of space flight hardware – performance, mechanical, electrical, software, safety, materials & verification requirementsBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state lawButler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
