System Integration Engineer Apply
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end technical integration and functional alignment across offshore wind farm systems, including OSS, ONS, transition pieces, WTGs, electrical infrastructure, cabling, SCADA, protection, and grid interfaces.Develop and maintain system integration strategies, functional architectures, and interface requirements throughout all project phases from concept and design through commissioning and final handover.Coordinate and manage technical interfaces between engineering disciplines, work packages, OEMs, and contractors to ensure consistency, compatibility, and clearly defined responsibilities.Identify, assess, and resolve system-level risks, gaps, and interface challenges during design, construction, commissioning, and energisation.Support system testing, commissioning, and energisation, validating integrated system performance and operational readiness.Maintain accurate system integration documentation while driving standardisation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing through lessons learned and best practices.Candidate ProfileDegree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related technical field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in system integration within offshore wind, substations, power systems, or large-scale industrial projects.Strong knowledge of OSS, ONS, transition pieces, WTGs, cable systems, protection & control, and SCADA architectures.Proven expertise in interface management, system engineering principles, and integration methodologies.Ability to interpret system diagrams, network architectures, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and control philosophies.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability at a system level.Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams and contractors.Fluent English required; German language skills are advantageous.If you have experience in the Energy & Utilities industry and are looking for a new role in Europe or UK, reach out to me at s.krueger@mane.co.uk
