Key Responsibilities System Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner. Security & Backup: Implement and maintain security protocols and data backups. Ensure systems are secure from unauthorized access and data loss. Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor systems and servers for issues, and proactively improve their performance and efficiency. Updates & Patching: Install and configure system updates and security patches to keep all systems current and secure. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and project managers to implement new technologies and solutions. Disaster Recovery: Help develop, implement, and test disaster recovery procedures and business continuity plans. Qualifications Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role. Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, and server management. Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V. Knowledge of system monitoring tools and performance tuning. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with both hardware and software. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment. Preferred Skills Experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). Knowledge of PowerShell scripting. Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery systems. Familiarity with database administration. Working Conditions Full‑time position with occasional after‑hours support required. May require some on‑call support during nights and weekends for critical system issues.
