We're currently hiring a Systems Administrator Engineer for an onsite role based in Surry, VA.Key Responsibilities:Maintain, configure, test, and troubleshoot nuclear power plant protection and control systems including computer control system software and hardware, and operator control interfacesInspect, test, and maintain control system networks including servers, workstations, firewalls, data acquisition systems, and peripheral equipmentMaintain/modify/update the installed control system softwareProvide technical support, input, and oversight for factory and site acceptance testing and simulationsInterface with the primary equipment supplier and project stakeholders to support technical reviews and inputReport and present status to engineering team lead, project managers, and management team on a periodic basisSkills & Qualifications:Must be able to work on a W-2Must have hands-on experience and operational systems knowledge and experience in Windows, VMware, and Linux in the nuclear fieldExperience assisting and maintaining virtual and physical server configuration and management in a nuclear plantMust know and have used: Programming and scripting languages (Ladder logic, PowerShell, etc.Industrial Control System (ICS) networking (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC, etc.) in a nuclear plantExperience with:SCADA and DCS configuration (Ovation and Common Q)Cisco IOS Firewall and switch configuration and managementDatabase and domain administration experienceEducation/Certifications:4-year electrical engineering degree, computer science, or equivalent extensive field experienceThe salary range for this position is $92,000 - $130,000.
