Hybrid Every Other Week onsite in Westlake, TX
The organization seeks a Systems Analyst to translate business needs into actionable technology requirements and deliver platform features. You will develop customer journey maps, data flows, and interface definitions while partnering with business and vendor teams. The role requires strong SQL skills, fluency with API contracts, and familiarity with .NET services and mainframe COBOL to research current functionality and inform designs. You will document workflows, generate use cases, and support testing to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

Rate: $46.00 to $56.00/hr. w2

- Facilitate sessions to elicit and translate business requirements into clear system requirements.
- Evaluate existing and in-development systems for functionality, dependability, and maintainability aligned to business needs.
- Respond to regulatory changes and technology modernization needs with actionable analysis.
- Query on-prem and cloud databases and navigate mainframe COBOL programs and .NET services to investigate requirements and current functionality.
- Produce and maintain system feature and workflow design documentation for existing and new systems.
- Generate use cases based on inputs from business users.
- Act as a liaison between business and development teams with end-to-end understanding of product and business capabilities.
- Support squads by reviewing test cases and results to validate business requirements.

- 8+ years of relevant systems analysis experience.
- Proven problem-solving ability to identify issues, assess options, and recommend actions.
- Strong verbal and written communication translating business problems into technology terms.
- Collaboration and consensus-building skills to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate hard conversations and negotiate outcomes.
- Critical thinking to evaluate alternatives and consider broader impacts.
- Presentation skills to share analysis findings with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
- Fluency with API contracts and ability to read code in .NET.
- Familiarity with COBOL programs and experience in shared DevOps environments.
