Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or a related field.
3. Experience with Antrim systems is mandatory.
a. Sunquest Antrim is a laboratory information management solution (LIMS) designed for small, medium, and large-sized laboratories. It enables users to manage laboratory performance, modify staff schedules and describe the changes in the list of tests, track data from sequencing, assign work to scientists and suggest instruments based on preset rules automatically, record inventories of vital supplies and laboratory equipment, as well as streamline ad-hoc report generation. Features include workflow management, inventory management, sample management, transaction management, barcode handling capability, instrument calibration, time tracking, and regulatory compliance management.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Familiarity with database management, software development, and IT infrastructure.
6. Proficiency in systems design methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
7. Experience with project management and data modeling tools is a plus.
8. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
a. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their processes, needs, and objectives.
b.Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
2. System Design Development:
a. Evaluate current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
b. Design and recommend technology solutions that meet business needs, improve productivity, and enhance system efficiency.
c. Develop system models, diagrams, and flowcharts for technical teams.
d. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends to identify areas for improvement.
e. Perform feasibility studies when needed to evaluate design ideas.
3. Implementation Testing:
a. Work with development teams to implement approved changes, ensuring systems meet business needs and project objectives.
b. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting of system issues.
c. Assist with system deployments and coordinate integration testing.
4. Support Maintenance:
a. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented systems.
b. Resolve technical issues and recommend enhancements or optimizations.
c. Document system modifications and updates for future reference.
5. Collaboration:
a. Liaise with project managers, developers, and other IT personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
b. Provide end-user training and support as needed.
