Position Description: ANPC is a global supplier of precision approach guidance and area surveillance solutions aimed at improving the safety and capacity of civil and military aviation for customers on all seven continents. Our transponder-based solutions are designed to serve airfields where others cannot.We are recruiting exclusively for on-site candidates at our Hood River, Oregon headquarters.Job Summary
Designs, develops, integrates, and supports engineering systems developed for the Aerospace industry. This includes defining product use, testing integrations and managing design reviews.Essential Job Functions
\tDevelops the planning, organization, implementation and maintenance of requirements management processes to deliver safety critical systems.
\tEvaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance, functional and regulatory requirements.
\tModel and analyze overall system requirements and performance, including top-down & bottom-up traceability of requirements to verification.
\tDevelop software and hardware architectures/partitioning, including definition of interfaces and use cases.
\tDevelop, perform and document system verification testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
\tCoordinate with engineering functions to allocate and define lower-level requirements.
\tPerform design analysis for proof-of-concept validation.
\tDevelop, maintain and optimize systems engineering processes.
\tSupport certification activities.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
\tBS degree in Aerospace, Systems engineering or equivalent.
\tAt least 5 years of experience in systems engineering
\tSoftware development experience required
\tFamiliarity with software architecture required
\tAbility to develop hardware and software architectures.
\tExperienced in product certifications FAA is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
\tIncorporates company values in carrying out all job functions and responsibilities.
\tAbility to read, write and interpret technical documents such as training manuals, corporate documents and contracts.
\tAbility to communicate effectively with management, customers and employees in a positive and professional manner.
