The Systems Engineer role will design, implement, and optimize secure VDI environments to support mission-critical operations, ensuring performance, stability, and compliance within a high-security, fast-paced government setting. *Applicants must currently obtain a Top Secret security clearance* Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer Design, architect, and enhance VDI environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with mission and security requirements Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, administrators, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement effective technical solutions Operate in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining system reliability and performance Support and execute initiatives that directly impact mission success, ensuring VDI systems meet operational and user needs Leverage both technical expertise and strong communication skills to drive problem resolution, optimize workflows, and deliver high-quality outcomes Qualifications for the Systems Engineer Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience Experience with Omnissa Horizon hosted on vSphere, including VDI architecture, monitoring (e.g., Liquidware Stratusphere), and profile management solutions Experience managing thin clients using endpoint management tools (e.g., Wyse Management) Strong understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and their impact on VDI images Familiarity with DISA STIGs and experience with core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and experience with Image-as-Code solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Packer) CompTIA Security+ Certification Active Top Secret Clearance Desired Skills: Experience with FSLogix and Dell Wyse Management Suite Familiarity with network authentication protocols (NDES, 802.1x) Familiarity with endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Trellix) Experience with application packaging/layering tools (e.g., Liquidware FlexApp) Compensation for the Systems Engineer Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 *depending on experience* Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, PTO, Holidays, Sick Leave if required by law This job opens for applications on 3/25.
