Systems & Network Engineer

CMK Resources is hiring a Systems and Network Engineer for a leading company in the distribution industry . This is a high-impact, hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of core infrastructure across a multi-site environment. You’ll work across networking, systems, and security—supporting day‑to‑day operations while driving key improvements. What you’ll do Own and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows environments Manage network and infrastructure operations (LAN/WAN/WLAN) Manage Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and core networking Take full ownership of certificate management (tracking, renewals, remediation) Manage virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V) Troubleshoot issues impacting uptime, performance, and security Partner with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure initiatives Tech environment Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba, VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Extreme Wi‑Fi, CrowdStrike, Okta (nice to have), ServiceNow (nice to have) What you bring 7+ years of hands‑on network and systems infrastructure experience Strong experience owning and supporting production environments Strong virtualization and Active Directory Strong Networking (Fortinet ideally or Cisco) and Palo Alto firewall experience Ability to communicate clearly and represent IT in meetings Team‑first mindset with strong ownership and accountability What to expect 100% on‑site (collaborative, hands‑on environment) Occasional weekend work (with flex time) Low-frequency, informal on‑call Additional requirements Ability to pass a background check and drug screening #J-18808-Ljbffr
