Job Title: Systems/Networking Engineer

Location - Little Ferry NJ - 3 DAYS ONSITE, 2 DAYS REMOTE

Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire

SUMMARY OF POSITION

IT generalist who can split time between infrastructure projects (networks, servers, cybersecurity, VoIP, audit, asset management) and hands-on helpdesk/desktop support. Need CYBERSECURITY (PALO ALTO FIREWALLS)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

50% will focus on IT infrastructure Projects (Networks, Servers, Cyber Security, VoIP, Audit, IT Asset Management/Tracking). The other 50% of your time will focus on helpdesk/desktop support.

• Accountable for successful planning, execution, and closure of assigned projects/tasks
• Work independently and in a team based environment Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Problem Solving Vendor management Business Acumen
• Appropriately escalates for feedback and resolution on key decisions, risks and issues for assigned projects/tasks
• Installation and configuration of Windows Servers both physical and virtual
• When necessary, will be tasked to help out with all aspects of the IT Department which may include: Providing Helpdesk/Desktop support, IT Inventory/Audit/Compliance. Break/Fix/Imaging of users machines, racking and stacking IT equipment
