Systems Test Engineer – Electronics Norwich | £60,000 | Flexible workingThis role is about being the person people turn to when electronic systems need to work first time, every time.You’ll join a high-reliability electronics manufacturer operating in safety-critical and mission-critical environments, where RF, microwave and complex electronic products are built, tested and shipped at scale.Your focus is on test, diagnostics and continuous improvement - not just running test procedures, but shaping how products are verified, fault-found and released into production.What you’ll be doingDesigning and improving test systems and test setupsTurning customer and internal specifications into practical test solutionsDiagnosing faults down to component levelSupporting production with hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolutionProgramming and maintaining test systemsImproving test efficiency, robustness and documentationActing as a technical reference point for test and diagnosticsWhy this role appeals to experienced engineersReal engineering problems, not checkbox testingHands-on work with electronics, measurement equipment and diagnosticsStrong collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teamsScope to influence test strategy and process improvementStable workload in a business that values quality and reliabilityWhat will make you a fitBackground in electrical / electronic engineeringExperience in electronic test, diagnostics or production engineeringComfortable with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and similar toolsStrong fault-finding skills at circuit and component levelExposure to automated test, Python/C#, or PCB tools is a bonusEligible for Security Clearance (or able to obtain)For immediate consideration, please apply.
