Are you an experienced systems test professional looking to take ownership of complex programmes and make a real impact? We’re seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recognised subject matter expert to step into a high‑visibility, high‑responsibility role within a dynamic engineering environment.Location: WarwickshireContract Duration: Until 31 March 2027 About the RoleAs a Systems Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for transforming customer and contractual requirements into robust, executable system‑level test solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of performance, quality and compliance.Your work will span the full test lifecycle — from initial analysis and planning to execution, coordination and comprehensive system evaluation.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesSupport Manager in robust delivery of programme activity.Sign off of all ReportsCollaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders during test activity i.e. customers, subject matter experts, test engineers & technicians, rig design & manufacture engineers etc.Submit design & manufacture controller F&TD requestsEnsure robust running of the test and root cause any failure.Assist in the continual improvement of test methods to enhance the CST service offering.Ensure test facilities are maintained to high standardsSupport all activities that result in a positive outcome from any audit e.g. IATF16949 (Quality), ISO45001 (H&S) and ISO 14001 (Environmental). Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential:JIRA knowledge.Able to manage a small technical engineering groupBe able to apply project planning to support facility scheduling.Data analytics knowledge to be able to measure area performance and offer solutions any shortfalls.Desirable:Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessment, COSHH and SDS.ABB Robotics IRC5 Programming language awareness.
