2024 Title l Elementary Summer Program Coordinator
Position
One Program Coordinator is needed to supervise staff and oversee the 2024 Title l Summer Elementary Program funded by Title l including but not limited to: recruiting staff, planning curriculum, scheduling, parent meetings, working with the Title l office around programming needs and logistics, acting as the point-person onsite for staff during operation of program, managing and overseeing staff and instruction.
Focus of the Program
This program will be open to struggling readers, writers, and mathematical thinkers who are entering grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in August 2024 (Dual Language included). The program is expected to have a teacher student ratio of 1:12. Students will be engaged in a variety of daily directed and independent literacy activities and math instruction.
Site Location: TBD Stanley Elementary or Northeast Elementary
Terms of Employment
Program planning begins in March 2024. The program will be held Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 28, 2024. No school on Thursday and Friday, July 4-5. Program times for students are 8:30 am - 12:30 pm for a total of (18 days). Preference will be given to those with a background in School Administration. July programming hours are from 8 am - 1 pm, or until the bus routes are complete.
Salary
A total payment of $7,410 (up to 190 hours)
