Role OverviewiSupport Worldwide is seeking a highly technical Tableau Developer to develop, optimize, and maintain Tableau-based analytics solutions built on large, frequently changing datasets. This role requires expert-level proficiency in Tableau and Tableau Prep, strong SQL skills, and hands-on experience working with complex, multi-source data. You will collaborate closely with analytics, data engineering, and buying teams to deliver reliable, high-performance visual analytics across the organization.A proven history of working night or graveyard shifts is required.Key ResponsibilitiesDashboard Development & Visualization• Develop, edit, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards using multiple data sources, including live and frequently refreshed data• Create scalable analytics visualizations for large, evolving datasets• Apply Tableau best practices for dashboard design, performance, and usabilityData Preparation & Tableau Prep• Use Tableau Prep to clean, transform, and harmonize large and frequently changing datasets• Build and maintain reusable Tableau Prep flows to ensure consistent and reliable data preparation• Manage schema changes, data quality issues, and evolving business definitions within Prep workflowsData Integration & SQL• Blend and join data from multiple sources using SQL and query-based integrations• Support data validation and troubleshooting across dashboards and data sources• Partner with analytics and data engineering teams to align dashboards with upstream data modelsAutomation & Systems• Develop and maintain SQL, Python, or similar scripts to automate data workflows and dashboard support• Contribute to custom internal dashboards and reporting systems supporting corporate functionsTableau Platform & Operations• Create and manage Tableau Alerts for data changes and threshold monitoring• Publish, refresh, and maintain dashboards in Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud• Optimize extracts, live connections, and refresh schedules for large datasetsCollaboration• Translate stakeholder reporting and analytics needs into effective visualization solutions• Work closely with technical teams to ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable, and maintainableRequired Technical Qualifications• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep• Proven experience building dashboards on large, dynamic, and frequently changing datasets• Strong SQL skills for data blending, joining, and validation• Experience working with multiple data sources, including live data connections• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data quality best practices• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail• Ability to diagnose and resolve dashboard performance and data integrity issues
