Job Description This Sr. Program Manager role supports the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command and Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve C‑130J Production program. The position manages cost, schedule and performance, serves as primary customer contact for C‑130J‑30 deliveries, coordinates all closing work, directs all program phases from inception through completion, oversees employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and compensation. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts and contract changes, preparing proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of the contract, leading program review sessions with customers, establishing design concepts and engineering efforts, developing new business or expanding the product line, establishing milestones, monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, and directing the work of employees in technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Basic Qualifications Ability to develop new business and strategic plans to protect and grow business. Excellent communication and customer intimacy skills at senior customer and senior company levels of management. Ability to lead in a functionally aligned organization. Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate performance‑based Earned Value metrics on a monthly basis to senior management. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be a US Citizen and hold a Secret clearance.
