About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client in the Education Industry, to identify a Human Resources & Talent Manager. This organization offers a collaborative campus environment and is seeking a hands-on HR professional to lead recruiting and HR operations as a key department resource.


Job Description:

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing educational institution. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts, manage onboarding processes, and serve as the primary HR contact for staff. This role will transition to a full-time salaried position after the initial contract period. The position is fully onsite, with occasional offsite attendance at job fairs and professional events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization at education-focused career fairs and networking events
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, from requisition through offer
  • Lead recruitment efforts for instructional and school-based staff
  • Proactively source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Utilize HRIS system to create job postings, track applicants, and maintain HR records
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Ensure compliance with evolving employment laws, including harassment prevention standards
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace environment


Qualifications:

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of employment compliance requirements and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all staff levels
  • Comfortable working independently as the sole HR team member


Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Standard business hours
  • Work Environment: Fully onsite (5 days/week)
  • Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
