We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant / CPA to join our team in High Point, NC. The Tax Accountant / CPA will provide essential support to a growing accounting firm in High Point, handling individual, business, and corporate tax filings while ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulations. This position allows hands-on client interaction, workflow management, and contribution to strategic tax planning initiatives in High Point, NC. Candidates must hold a CPA license or be actively pursuing certification.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations in High Point, NC.
- Ensure all tax filings comply with current federal, state, and local regulations.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies, deductions, and methods to reduce liabilities.
- Analyze client financial records to uncover potential tax issues and planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workloads efficiently and maintain quality standards.
- Communicate with clients regarding tax filings, document requirements, and inquiries.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting within public accounting.
