The Tax Accountant / CPA will play a vital role in supporting a growing accounting firm in Jamestown, handling individual, business, and corporate tax filings while ensuring precision and adherence to federal and state tax regulations. Candidates must hold a CPA license or be actively working toward certification.

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations in Jamestown, NC.
• Ensure all filings meet federal, state, and local compliance standards.
• Provide clients with guidance on tax planning strategies, deductions, and liability reduction.
• Examine client financial records to identify potential tax concerns and planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient workload distribution and uphold quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax documentation, filing questions, and updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting within a public accounting environment.
