Contract Role A well-established mid-sized CPA and Business Consulting Firm (50–100 professionals) with offices in Midtown NYC and Jericho, Long Island is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant The firm serves a diverse client base across multiple industries and is committed to delivering high-quality service with exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts & estates Conduct tax research using tools such as CCH, XCM, and RIA Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with implementation strategies Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address tax-related matters Support Partners and Managers with tax compliance and consulting engagements Mentor and assist junior staff in the preparation of returns and workpapers Ensure engagements are completed accurately, timely, and within budget Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation 4–8+ years of recent and relevant U.S. public accounting experience Strong experience preparing and reviewing tax returns across multiple entity types Broad knowledge of federal and state taxation Excellent technical and tax research skills Strong organizational and time management skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple engagements #J-18808-Ljbffr
