March 16th has just been and gone.

Here’s the truth about hiring in public accounting. The best moves don’t happen in May when everyone panics and floods the market. They happen now. In this strange little window between 3.16 survival mode and 4.15 exhaustion.

The smart firms are already thinking about it. They know good people start exploring before the next deadline rolls around.

So if you’re thinking about a change but don’t want to jump ship mid busy season… good news. You don’t have to. Plenty of firms will happily line something up now with a civilized start date after 4.15.

Get ahead of the crowd.

One such firm that’s hiring now is a boutique firm with offices in NJ and NYC. They have two people retiring in the summer. One is a Senior Tax Accountant, the other is a Tax Manager. Both are generalist positions, covering a wide range of industries.
