Now Hiring: Tax & Accounting Manager (CPA Preferred)

Location: Mineola, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Compensation: $140,000 – $175,000 (DOE) per year

A growing boutique CPA firm in Mineola, NY is seeking an experienced Tax & Accounting Manager to join its team. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on professional with small firm experience who is comfortable managing staff, reviewing work, and handling complex tax and accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and train staff

• Review workpapers and tax returns

• Prepare complex tax returns, including LLCs, S Corps, C Corps, trusts, exempt organizations, and individual returns

• Handle multi-state tax returns

• Prepare workpapers for compilations and reviews

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement disclosures, and tax regulations

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience with sales tax and payroll tax preparation

• Prior small firm CPA experience is strongly preferred

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte, Excel, and Word

• CPA license preferred
