As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, preparing tax returns, and assisting in tax planning. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, identifying potential tax savings, and supporting the company's financial strategy. This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to minimize tax liabilities and ensure accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns
  • Analyze financial statements and data to ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist in tax audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on their impact
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and work on tax planning strategies
  • Maintain accurate tax records and support month-end/year-end financial reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business strategies
  • Research tax issues and prepare memorandums to document findings
  • Support in transfer pricing and international tax matters
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation or analysis
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Experience with tax software and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Salary:
  • Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Performance-based bonus
