Title - Tax Manager
Location - Springboro, OH - Hybrid
Duration - Direct hire/ Full time


Requirements

• CPA License
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus)
• 5-8 years of experience in public accounting
• Advanced experience completing tax returns, audits, reviews for individuals, pass-throughs and small-medium sized companies
• Experience developing & strengthening customer relationships
• Managing technical issues

Worksite: Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office in Springboro, OH 45066

Eaton Office Address: 216 N Barron St, Eaton, OH 45320

Travel: As needed basis to Eaton, OH office (all travel will be expensed)

Salary: $110k - $120k annually

ALINEA CPA:

Abby & Susan McClure (hiring manager)

Tax manager

Needs someone to take the review off of her and help with the technical issue and other things while Susan focuses on the "bigger stuff" and new CPA firms as the owner (Seth) acquires them

5-8 years exp; CPA; individuals, businesses, non-profits, sign the reviews and get them out the door

5-8 years TAX EXPERIENCE AS THE REVIEWER; Reviewing returns; sign the returns and get them out the door without having Susan spot-checking everything they do

*Must have their CPA

Client side focused

Team player; intelligent

Needs someone WILLING TO JUST DO THE WORK: makes/handles calls with the IRS; does all of the payroll; talks to the government agencies; someone very good with REVIEWs (tax, payroll, etc.) and is somewhat technical; small-medium size business CPA; a lot of their clients need to be adjusted/reconciled

Worksite: Hybrid 1-2 days in office

Springboro Office Address: 35 Commercial Way, Springboro, OH 45066 (office was just remodeled)

Travel: Occasional travel to the Eaton, OH 45320 office (mileage is expensed)

They are open to someone full-time during tax season and part-time in the summer (Ex: a mom)

Competition: Yes - at least 2 other firms

Salary: $120k max (they are willing to be a little flexible if we have a rockstar candidate but want us to stay at $120k max if we can)
