Tax Manager

Location: Oakbrook, IL - 50% REMOTE

Length: 6 months (Contract to Hire)

*Must have 5+yrs Public Accounting background

*CPA highly preferable

Key Requirements:

A. Providing tax compliance and advisory services to corporations, partnerships, and individuals inclusive of:

• Manage a team of tax professionals and monitor individual progress and provide mentorship
• Manage clients of various sizes and industries and maintain communications with clients
• Work as part of a team providing consultative advice and industry knowledge

B. Set the culture for your team and mentor members in their career development

C. Build client relationships by providing excellent client experience

D. Understand and utilize firms processes and procedures

E. Understand and manage the overall performance of engagements

F. Proactively develop business (as needed)

G. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear, concise recommendations.

E. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effectively engaging with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
