We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services practice. This role focuses on providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. The ideal candidate is a strategic advisor with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a client‑first mindset. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, and closely held entities. Review complex tax returns, including individual (1040), partnerships, S‑corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns. Provide advanced tax planning strategies related to income, estate, gift, and wealth transfer taxes. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong long‑term relationships. Identify tax‑saving opportunities and provide proactive advisory services. Manage, mentor, and develop tax managers and staff; review work and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with partners on practice development and client growth initiatives. Participate in business development efforts, including networking, proposal development, and client presentations. Stay current on tax law changes and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Qualifications Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required. Active CPA license or EA certification required. MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation a plus. 7+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, or private client services. Deep technical expertise in individual, partnership, trust and estate taxation. Proficient with MS Office Suite and tax research platforms (e.g., CCH Tax, Engagement or similar). Proven experience managing client relationships and leading engagements. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with complex, multi‑entity structures and high‑volume K-1 environments preferred. Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 - $135,000, depending on qualifications, experience, skill and certifications.
