This role will be essential in providing strategic tax guidance and support to the organization while mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and other tax compliance reports.Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk management.Review and analyze tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and provide guidance to clients on their implications.Assist in the development of tax policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax function.Mentor and train junior staff in tax concepts and compliance processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and planning.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.BenefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)Paid maternity leaveCommuter benefitsDisability insurance
