The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, including Form 709 Gift Tax Returns, Form 1065 Partnership Tax Returns, Form 1041 Trust Returns, and Corporate Tax Returns. Hosted by: Tony Fasano. Responsibilities Prepare and review complex tax returns, including Form 709, Form 1065, Form 1041, and Corporate Tax Returns. Ensure all tax forms and supporting documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with federal and state tax laws. Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, advising on strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to stay updated on any changes that may affect clients. Utilize ProSystems FX and advanced Excel skills to maintain and analyze financial data. Work closely with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related queries or concerns. Assist in the preparation of estate tax returns and manage tax issues related to trusts and private foundations. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all tax-related legal requirements are met. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, preferably within the legal industry. Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a specialization in Form 709, Form 1065, Form 1041, and Corporate Tax Returns. Proficiency in ProSystems FX and advanced Excel skills. Experience with partnership tax, trust tax, and estate tax return preparation. Familiarity with private foundation tax issues and tax review processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) status is preferred.
