The Tax Records Specialist position involves specialized clerical activity within the Fast Payment Processing Division to include: manually processing large volumes of payments received by mail; computing, balancing, and reconciling cashier batches; operating high-tech machines for highspeed payment processing; reviewing various applications, correspondence, and non-processible items and using attained knowledge and judgment for proper protocol; processing online Auto Tag renewals using the Miami-Dade County and the state of Florida's online processing systems. This position requires attention to detail and knowledge of standard office equipment, familiarity in filing forms and documents, and considerable knowledge of state and local governmental Statutes, policies, and practices.
