Job Description
  • Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined compliance filings.

  • Analyze client information, record journal entries, and complete reconciliations.

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships while acting as a reliable point of contact.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and actively support a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (required).

  • Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards.

  • Practical experience with journal entry preparation and accrual versus cash basis accounting.

  • Ability to perform GILTI calculations.

  • Experience preparing multiple tax forms, including 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR.

  • Knowledge of CFC and foreign partnership classifications, along with Check-the-Box elections.

  • Preferred software experience with UltraTax or ProSystems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
