Job Description:

As a Tax Senior at this firm you will play a crucial role in providing expert tax advisory and compliance services to our clients. This position is ideal for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting who is looking to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Provide tax consulting services, including tax strategy development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze financial data to identify tax savings opportunities.
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior staff members.
  • Stay updated on tax code changes and industry trends to ensure accurate and up-to-date tax services.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
