An opportunity is available for two skilled Educational Technicians (Level II or III) to support K-5 students within a life skills-based curriculum. This onsite position spans from August 24, 2026, to June 11, 2027, offering a 32-hour workweek in a school setting located in Damariscotta, ME.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Implement life skills curriculum tailored to K-5 students, fostering independence and personal growth.
  • Provide in-class assistance and monitor student progress throughout the academic year.
  • Collaborate with educators to adapt instructional materials to meet varying abilities.
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and functional skills essential for daily life.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Educational Technician (Level II or III) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-focused environment.
  • Understanding of life skills instructional strategies and special education support.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
