Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking experienced paraprofessionals for a summer ESY program serving students with moderate to severe behavioral and autism-related needs across multiple school locations in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. These contract positions offer the opportunity to support student success in structured classroom settings during the Extended School Year (ESY) from June 24 through July 30, 2026.

Location: Various schools including Levittown, Fallsington, Bensalem, Quakertown, and moreall within Bucks County, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide paraprofessional support to students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges, including assistance with ABA interventions.
  • Support student engagement and safety during school hours, managing behaviors such as hitting, spitting, eloping, and other intensive behaviors as needed.
  • Assist with toileting, lifting, and classroom activities as required.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and supervisors to deliver consistent instructional support.
  • Participate fully in orientation and training prior to program start.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of paraprofessional experience working with students who have behavioral or autism-related needs.
  • Must meet at least one PA paraprofessional qualification: 48 college credits, associate degree or higher, or Credential of Competency/CDA.
  • If not currently qualified, candidate must complete a required 7-module certification and credential application within 60 days of hire.
  • Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of assigned school site.
  • Ability to work the full ESY schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:45 AM 2:45 PM.
  • Comfortable managing complex student behaviors and physical demands of the role.
  • Must comply with client policy requiring no work with this client via another agency within the past year.

Additional Information:

  • Orientation occurs June 24-25, 2026.
  • Assignments will be matched based on skills, student needs, and proximity to candidates home.
  • Candidates must be able to commit to the designated schedule without attendance limitations.
