Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two full-time ABA paraprofessional positions are available within a public school setting in Providence, RI. These roles focus on providing specialized behavioral and academic support to students requiring additional assistance in middle and high school environments. The assignments run as contracts through June 16, 2026, with immediate start dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral intervention and academic support to students in high school and middle school.
  • Support classrooms dealing with high-intensity behaviors and assist students at risk of out-of-district placement.
  • Provide one-on-one and whole-class support tailored to individual and group needs.
  • May include additional responsibilities such as bus support with paid hours.

Position Details:

  • Location: Providence, Rhode Island.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Caseload varies: High school in a behavioral intervention program or middle school float position supporting multiple classrooms.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral support, ideally within middle or high school settings.
  • Must possess paraprofessional certification or have completed at least 48 college credits.
  • Completion of National Background Criminal Information (BCI) preferred for immediate onboarding.
