Job Title: Teacher Aide / Classroom Assistant

Job Types: Full-Time Permanent + Benefits

Job Summary:

• The Teacher Aide supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. This role assists with daily classroom activities, supervision, and care while promoting children's social, emotional, and educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Support children during learning, playtime, meals, and nap/rest periods.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors to ensure safety at all times
• Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social interactions
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines as required.
• Prepare classroom materials and learning resources.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as needed.
• Follow all school policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
