Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Haverhill, MA is seeking a qualified teacher for the visually impaired to join their team on a contract basis from January 26, 2026, through June 18, 2026. This opportunity offers full-time or part-time hours with onsite work required.

Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction and support tailored to students with visual impairments, collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff, and helping to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with each students unique needs. The role demands adapting teaching methods and materials to ensure accessibility and promoting student independence and academic growth.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DOE) license for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (VI)
