Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school in Boston, MA is seeking a qualified professional for a part-time role supporting an elementary student with visual impairments. This contract position involves conducting a comprehensive evaluation for one student, attending the Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting, and collaborating with the inclusion-based team to ensure appropriate accommodations and services are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an onsite assessment of the visually impaired student.
