Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education
- Demonstrated experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (schools setting preferred)
- Familiarity with assistive hearing technology and classroom accommodations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for a variety of student needs
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct specialized instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate students’ individual communication and learning needs
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate student integration and progress
- Support family involvement through regular updates and education about strategies and resources
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, making necessary adaptations to instructional approaches
