POSITION: Teaching Assistant (10‑month position) – Job Exploration and Training Program LOCATION: North Franklin Educational Center – Malone, NY DESCRIPTION: This program offers students the opportunity to explore and learn introductory/entry level skills in several career and technical education programs in an inclusive and supportive environment. Through CTE exploration, community‑based instruction and job skills training, students in this program are prepared for a successful job placement and/or transition into a NYSED CTE program. This program is for students in a 12:1:1 or 15:1:1 setting for half the school day. RESPONSIBILITIES: Some duties include: Providing direct student assistance in small groups and/or individually Reinforcing lessons Assisting with preparing materials necessary for lessons Assisting with classroom management Supervising students Completing proper documentation QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant or the ability to become certified. STARTING DATE: ASAP SALARY: $24,584 (2025‑26 Base Salary). Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience.
