As a Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will work alongside teachers to support pupils within the classroom, helping them access lessons and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. You will assist with individual and small group support, encourage positive behaviour, and contribute to creating a safe, nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities Support the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons. Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils. Assist children across different age groups with their academic and social development. Promote independence, confidence, and a love for learning. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Requirements Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualifications are preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning needs. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
