The Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect / Senior Developer with 10-15 yrs of experience is responsible for solution design and development using the Siemens Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) framework and tools. He/She should have the ability to perform the activities of requirement gathering from business, solution design, solution development and test plan definition (SW development life cycle execution) in response to business requirements. Should have good communication skills and ability to work in complex collaboration environment. He should have experience in working on Agile software solution development in a challenging client facing role. Teamcenter end to end implementation experience. Strong development would an advantage. Strong TC functional knowledge is must. min. 10+ years exp.This will be a technical role working with Alcon IT teams and a different implementation partner. Role will serve as a consultant assisting us design and develop an architecture structure for our Teamcenter, assisting us in defining a development/deployment strategy to support parallel development activities and helping us develop a DevOps strategy that will move us forward through our multiyear implementation to ongoing operations. We have strategies for most of these things, but are looking for someone with Teamcenter specific experience to verify our plans and assumptions as well as guide us as we formalize roadmaps, deployment strategies and devops processes and procedures. This resource could be offshore. This is a hands on technical person helping teach us how best to build a devops shop for Siemens. Required Expertise

Expertise in Teamcenter PLM solution development for product design and manufacturing functions including bill of material, change management, classification, process planning

Have in depth knowledge on Teamcenter PLM architecture and Active Workspace (AWC) Implementation

Work with business to clarify business requirements and identify opportunities to improve solutions.

Document solution proposals and specifications.

Define custom solutions to address the specific business requirements, uses case scenarios

PLM access rule and data security solutions

Use of Java, C/C++ programming languages in conjunction with the Siemen's Teamcenter PLM API's and related application framework

Experience with Rich Client, Server, and Utility development

Responsible for on time Delivery of Design, Development, Testing & Deployment as per the plan

Technical training / mentoring junior Teamcenter developers

Experience with one or more of the following - Teamcenter based content management, supplier collaboration, CAD integrations, T4S/T4EA for integrations, service LC management would be an advantage

PLM Implementation experience with consumer electronics, EV or industrial machinery would be an advantage
