Job SummaryThe team lead is responsible for supporting the management team by demonstrating a selling behavior. The team lead should support a selling behavior, lead a selling team, and promote a positive work environment and team spirit.Essential Functions:Assist the store manager/assistant manager with daily operations, activities, and other tasks as needed and as required. Support business operations, policies, and procedures. Process sales and stock duties (receiving and feeing merchandise and issuing to store floor) Support sales associates in providing excellent customer service and resolve issues as they arise. Ensure the presentation of merchandise and visual aspects of the store are maintained. Oversee all methods of loss prevention in the store of which company policies are followed. Assist in maintaining control standards for the store. Assist with the development of new sales as associates as well as other tasks assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. High level of integrity. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others. Ability to demonstrate selling behaviors and lead by example. Physical requirements include constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 lbs.Environment and Physical Demands:Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
