Responsibilities Lead a front-line, customer‑centric team of tax office associates and manage a single H&R Block tax office to accelerate seasonal tax business. Provide leadership and development for tax office associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates and help advance your own knowledge and skills while serving the team. Lead daily team activities, manage associate schedules, and ensure work is completed according to deadlines with quality standards, priorities, and goals. Train and coach associates to execute service standards, recognize outstanding contributions, and conduct regular performance discussions. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns as required and collaborate with the District General Manager on growth plans and local partnerships. Qualifications Prior experience in a customer service, shift leadership, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual completion of continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Customer-centric mindset, flexibility in work schedule, and strong communication skills. High school diploma or higher. Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $65.00 per hour (local minimum wage laws apply).
