Requirements Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and event tech systems. Experience working with routers, switches, radios, and point-of-sale kits preferred. Comfort with cabling, labeling, and structured installations. Festival, construction or event operations experience is an asset. Familiarity with common software platforms and troubleshooting processes. Experience working in customer service is an asset. A valid driver’s license is required. Duties The Tech Assistant is a key operational member of the SMF Tech Department, supporting both the Tech Director and Tech Supervisor in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all festival technology systems.
