Job Title: Tech Field Geologist 2
Duration: 3 years
Location: Vincent AL, 35178
Responsibilities:
- Field oversight for monitoring well installation programs, foundation investigations, contamination assessments, geologic site characterizations, or
- related projects.
- Perform soil and rock logging.
- Prepare professional logs for soil, rock, and monitoring well construction data. Install water
- monitoring and water quality equipment and manage the data output.
- Manage drilling and other related contractors per company guidelines and procedures.
- Interface with various customers, assist Geologist and Land Group peers to facilitate field investigations.
- 100% travel.
Skill sets and expertise:
- Experience in executing field investigations utilizing various drilling methods and resources.
- Experience with soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting.
- Knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods.
- General knowledge of federal, state, and **** regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of gINT BoreDM Boring Log Program.
- Flexible computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Safety first mindset.
- Exhibit customer focus and conflict resolutions skills.
Requirements:
- 5 -10 Years Experience in related field.
- Accredited Bachelors Degree in Geology preferred. Geological Engineering accepted.
