Overview $24.12 / hour America’s First Theme Park is looking for you! Come join the team that brings some of the most exciting theme park events to life! From Boysenberry Festival to Peanuts Celebration, Merry Farm to Scary Farm, Knott’s is looking for talented individuals with theatrical, theme park, concert, corporate experience in Project Administration to join our Entertainment Leadership Team. Tech Ops support the technical department in the installation, construction, maintenance, operations and strike in one of the following areas: staging (construction), lighting, audio, paint, scenic dressing, video, and special effects. Provides hands on theatrical techniques and skills in the mentioned specialty area, following directions from the leadership team. Responsibilities Operates and maintains theatrical equipment such as fly rails, scenery changes, props, follow spots, lighting boards, lighting equipment, audio boards, PA systems, and audio visual equipment. Constructs, installs, strikes, and/or repairs stage scenes, set dressings, props, lighting equipment, audio equipment, and any other technical equipment as needed. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of basic issues and equipment during day-to-day operations. Read, understand and implement plans and blueprints. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree (2 year College or Tech School) Theater or Project Management Minimum Age 0 ‑ 2 Years Related Experience professional theatre or related entertainment industry. Experience At Least 18 Years of Age Qualifications Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Certifications Commercial Driver's License #J-18808-Ljbffr
