You don’t just design systems—you help build, test, and evolve them.You work on a multi-tenant AI platform where:Data isolation and tenant separation are non-negotiableSecurity, privacy, and compliance are core design constraintsScalability, observability, and performance matter in real-world usageYour responsibilities include:Designing and evolving the core platform architectureActively contributing code to backend services, AI pipelines, and infrastructure componentsMaking architectural decisions around Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native patternsDesigning secure and compliant AI workflows within a sovereign cloud environmentReviewing and improving existing implementations for reliability, performance, and maintainabilityWorking closely with engineers, external development teams, and consultants to translate architectural principles into working softwareExplaining and defending technical decisions—internally and occasionally to customersThis role requires you to move comfortably between whiteboard discussions and production code.What Do You Bring?You are a technically strong engineer who has grown into an architectural role and still enjoys building.You bring:Several years of experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or architectProven experience designing and implementing cloud-native systemsHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern backend architecturesAffinity with AI systems, ML pipelines, or AI-enabled platforms (hands-on experience is a strong plus)Solid understanding of multi-tenant architectures, data separation, and securityExperience working with open-source technologiesThe ability to make pragmatic technical decisions and take ownership of outcomesStrong communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts clearlyFluency in Dutch and EnglishYour TeamYou’ll work with a compact, multidisciplinary team of backend engineers, AI specialists, business consultants, and external development partners.
