Overview This role is onsite, primarily operating from the HPE Alpharetta, GA office. About HPE Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a global edge‑to‑cloud company advancing people’s lives and work. Job Description HPE’s Presales Center partners with Account Managers, other Presales Teams, and Partners to assist customers with evaluating proposed solutions through demonstrations, workshops, proof‑of‑concepts, and performance testing. The Technical Architect will support HPE’s North America Enterprise business across all industry and product segments, architecture IT solutions, and convey complex technologies to business leaders. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and lead deep‑dive technology discussions with clients and account teams. Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through demonstrations, workshops, and similar activities. Build out required testing environments (servers, storage, networking, software) and provide consulting during evaluation. Assist with management of the Center’s infrastructure necessary for testing environments, including remote access and inventory. Focus on technical selling to customers and partners. Requirements Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications. 8+ years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling. 2+ industry‑standard technology certifications or equivalent experience. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and project‑management methodologies is helpful but not required. Knowledge and Skills Experience leading solution configurations and overall architecture design and creating, managing, and positioning demos and proofs‑of‑concept. Working knowledge of the as‑a‑service (aaS) business model, business value, and ecosystem. Collaboration across HPE to generate new revenue through increased subscription consumption and other aaS models. Persuasion skills to support company perspective while questioning proposed solutions. Hands‑on experience with multiple products, solutions, tools, or services aligned to responsibilities. Ability to deliver live demonstrations or walkthroughs of products and solutions to stakeholders.
