As part of this expansion, they are seeking a Technical Document Writer to enhance the quality, clarity, and consistency of technical documentation across all divisions. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and engineering reportsProduce user manuals, data sheets, and technical summariesCoordinate with engineering teams to gather and verify information for documentationSupport in drafting and reviewing grant applications and associated materialsManage timelines and ensure documents meet project delivery schedulesApply systems engineering principles to manage gate documentsOversee engineering drawing management, version control, and standardisationCollaborate with teams across test sites, operations, and vehicle assemblyPreferred Experience & SkillsDegree in an engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, or similar)3+ years of experience in technical writing within an engineering environmentUnderstanding of systems engineering and document management processesExperience performing gap analyses to improve existing documentation systemsSkilled in gathering and synthesising information from subject matter expertsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAdditional RequirementsValid passport and right to work in the UKWillingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentFlexibility to work additional hours when required to meet deadlines
